Applications and policies
Planning Applications are administered by Cornwall Councill’s Planning Department. You will find a lot of useful information and the application procedure at their webpage:
You can look up any Planning Applications using the Cornwall Council Online Planning Register.
Planning Policy for Cornwall is outlined in the ‘Cornwall Local Plan'.
The Parish Council has no power to approve or decline planning applications but is invited by Cornwall Council to comment on any applications relating to Stoke Climsland Parish. Relevant applications are considered at the monthly meetings and the Planning Department is then provided with a comment indicating any useful information from a parish perspective, together with a recommendation of support or non-support.
Anyone with a planning application under consideration is welcome to attend the meeting and give a presentation about their application during the public session.
