PASTORAL CARE AT STOKE CLIMSLAND CHURCH

Our church has a fully trained Pastoral Care Team.  The aim of the Team comes from the Bible which calls us as Christians to care for one another and to seek support from each other when needed.

Pastoral Ministry is available to ALL people who live in the Parish and offers good listening and friendship at a time when a person may feel the need for a little additional support.

A request for a visit may be a follow-up to one by the clergy or be requested for yourself or on behalf of someone else.

The Pastoral Team would like to reassure you that the subject of faith and the church need not be raised unless specifically raised by you during the course of a visit. However the team is willing to discuss the Christian faith with any who wish it.

Team members will carry proof of identity when making a call.

If you have a prayer or pastoral care request, the methods of contacting us are given below.

Any requests for prayer will be passed to the team who will share this request in confidence, and include it in their prayers until such time as the difficulty has passed.
