Calling all Old Stoke Climsland Primary School Scholars!

You are invited to a  Reunion of Old Scholars

to be held at the Old School this summer over the weekend of 21st-22nd June 2008

You are invited to bring your photos of then and now, and to share your memories from school and since.

We will need to get an idea of numbers as soon as possible so please ring 01579 370493 if you would like to come, or to help organise the event, or would be able to help with the names, or provide contact details of anyone in your year.

  Arrangements are now quite advanced. There will be separate sessions on both days, with a notable former scholar or teacher opening each session. On Saturday from 7pm onwards there will be a wine bar in operation in The Old School with music being provided by the recording stars of the former student fraternity.

Already people have been supplying their yesteryear photos, and some of these are already on display in The Old School. Please bring your own along at the weekend to add to the collection, or let the Office have them beforehand so they can join the existing display. We can scan your photo originals if you prefer.

  Publicity Flyers are available from the office; please help the weekend attract as many people as possible by sending them to those friends with whom you are in contact, that are not living within the catchment area of The Old School News . The East Cornwall Times and The Evening Herald  have responded to our request for some publicity. We are waiting for a response from the BBC.  If you have any particularly memorable stories for publication, please let us know.

  Finally it would help if you could phone the office and let us know that you are coming.

A reunion of former pupils of the Old School in Stoke Climsland is being arranged for the weekend June 21st and 22nd 2008.  The details are still being worked out but it is hoped that there will be ample opportunity for old friends to meet and for memories to be exchanged.  It is hoped also that those attending will bring along any momentos they might have, such as class photographs, old reports etc, so that they may be copied for the Old School Archive.
