Bray Shop Affordable Housing Proposal

There is considerable interest in a proposal to build a development in Bray Shop which will include some affordable housing units. These pages are being constructed to provide information about the proposal and related issues. Content will added as and when it becomes available.

A Public Meeting was held on 7th June 2011 to discuss the proposed development. It was attended by, amongst others, Andrew Selleck, the proposed developer, and Christopher Lunn, the Cornwall Council officer responsible for affordable houisng in South East Cornwall. Notes of the meeting are available (as a .pdf document) here.

Please note that the Stoke Climsland Parish Council has not yet formally stated its position on this project.  It would be remiss of the Parish Council not to consider the project fairly and objectively and it is in the process of gathering the information it requires before it can make a decision. It is unlikely that all the necessary information will be available before any formal planning application is made  Until that point is reached, the appearance of information on these pages should not be taken as endorsement or otherwise of the project by the Parish Council.
