The Stoke Climsland proposal is at a very early stage and there are no specific details yet available.  It would be great if all of the questions being asked could be answered straightaway.  However, if you are interested in finding out more about affordable housing schemes in Cornwall and elsewhere, the following sites are worth looking at:

*  The Cornwall Rural Housing Association (CRHA) was formed in 1985 with the specific aim of building houses for rent in the rural areas of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The houses are let to local people in housing need.  If you want to find out more about what they do and the type of properties that they build for rent, follow this link to their website.

*  North Cornwall District Council is committed to improving the quality and number of affordable homes available for rent and to buy within its area.  Follow this link to the area of their website where they explain what affordable housing means and what eligibility criteria are applicable to each of the various schemes.  There is a lot of very useful information here.
